The life God gives to us is according to His faithful love so that we can obey His words. As the NASB and NKJV translations state, to “revive us” is ultimately to give God the glory He alone deserves by us listening and yielding to the words He has decreed. The cost of revival is not free. Among other things, it is a clear and heightened state of our souls toward God’s truth. We listen. We obey. We yield.
